Driving Simulator Shows Teens Risk of Texting

Area teenagers will be able to experience firsthand the perils of distracted driving next Saturday, April 28. Manlius Pebble Hill School will let them take a spin on the Texting and Driving Simulator, being toured nationally by the PEERS Foundation, an advocacy group dedicated to youth and teen safety.
Cicoria Named Next Director of Admission

Nicole Cicoria has been appointed Manlius Pebble Hill School’s next director of admission. Interim Head of School Tracy Frank and Head-Elect Scott Wiggins today announced that, effective July 1, Ms. Cicoria will replace Lynne Allard, who is retiring at the end of this school year after 12 years as director of admission.
MPH Hosts Free Screening of “Finding Kind”

Manlius Pebble Hill School has announced a free public showing of “Finding Kind,” a documentary that focuses on the mean behavior of girls and the devastating and lasting impact of girl-to-girl aggression. The film will be shown at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at the Palace Theater in Eastwood.
Syracuse Playwright to Speak at NHS Induction

Playwright and Syracuse Stage dramaturge Kyle Bass will be the keynote speaker at the 2012 induction dinner of the MPH chapter of the National Honor Society. The Friday, April 20 event will begin at 6 p.m. in the Falcone Dining Hall.

A Manlius Pebble Hill School blood drive for the local chapter of the American Red Cross will be held from 1:30 to 6 p.m. Friday, April 20 at Pebble Hill Presbyterian Church on Jamesville Rd.
