MPH sophomore victorious at US Orienteering Championship

MPH sophomore Nathan Collinsworth brought home a gold medal from the US Orienteering Championships in the 2-day classic distance race this past weekend in the Hudson Valley of New York, racing in the male 16 and under age group.

Orienteering is a cross-country running race in which athletes navigate using a topographic map to a series of checkpoints in the fastest possible time.  Next weekend Nathan plans to take on the best from the US and Canada at the North American Championships at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire.

Good luck, Nathan!
