Lower School Kids Learn from AP Bio Students
June 5, 2012
It was an interesting assignment – one that tested Upper School students’ ability to distill complex scientific information and make it palatable and intriguing to much younger students.
MPH science teacher Beth Krauss recently asked her AP biology students to choose a topic in the field of biology and create a storybook, video, or song and then use it to successfully teach information about the topic to children in Kindergarten through Third Grade.
In the end, it was hard to tell who had more fun with this project – the AP bio students or the Lower Schoolers!
